SLSA provides girls with the opportunity to learn and compete at fastpitch softball.

Ages, Registration Fees
Girls born 2010-2019
- 14U (2010-2011) - $160
- 12U (2012-2013) - $160
- 10U (2014-2015) - $150
- 8U (2016-2017) - $125
- 6U (2018-2019) - $100
Season Timing
For most divisions, the season runs from late March/early April until mid June. 12U Div1 and 14U runs from late April/early May until mid July.
Evaluations
Evaluations will take place in late February. Evaluations are optional for most players. Only those players that are requesting to play up to an older age group or those players that would like to be evaluated for a competitive team (10U Div1 or 12U Div1) must attend. Separate evaluation details will be shared in early-mid February.
Practices
Coaches will reach out in early-mid March to share team information, such as practice days, times, and locations. Practices are typically twice a week (usually weeknights) until games start. Practice schedules are based on head coach availability. If you need your daughter to practice on a specific day/time, you'll need to volunteer.
Practices can take place at any of our home fields:

- Hopewell Park
- St. Joseph's Church
Games
There are usually 1-2 games per week and are typically on the weekends. The days/times of the games depend on the age group and coach availability. If you have specific dates/times that need to be considered when scheduling, you'll need to volunteer.
SLSA is part of the Eastern Pennsylvania Girls Softball League (formerly the Lehigh Valley & Parkland Softball Leagues). Away games will be played within our geographic region of the EPGSL. Home games can take place at any of our home fields:

- Living Memorial Park field VFW2
- Hopewell Park
- Saint Joseph's Church
Uniforms & Equipment
- Jerseys are provided as part of the registration fees
- Optional practice shirts can be purchased during registration
- Players will need black softball pants, a softball glove, a softball bat, and a water bottle
- Face masks and cleats are STRONGLY recommended. Please mark your daughter's name on EVERYTHING.
- Metal cleats are prohibited. Only plastic cleats are allowed.
Special Registration/Rostering Requests
• All requests for coaches/teammates MUST be made prior to submitting the registration. Requests made after the registration has been submitted WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
• We cannot guarantee that all requests can/will be accommodated
• Volunteers are given preference for requests
• Team scheduling is based solely on the availability of the head coaches. If you need your child to practice at a specific day/time, you must volunteer.
